We couldn’t be more proud to announce that PageSlayers Summer Camp is officially a 2016 Knight Arts Challenge winning idea! We want to thank Knight Foundation, the OLCDC, our friends, and family for all of their support past, present, and future. PageSlayers mission is to provide 4th and 5th grade students in Opa-locka with high quality writing instruction outside the current Florida curriculum via lessons taught by published and award-winning professional writers of color as they examine and flourish in the arts of short stories, flash fiction and poetry.
